Black Tech Entrepreneur David Bullock Honored At United Nations Maps 'Road To Success'

American tech entrepreneur and media exec David Bullock (also known as Alaska) was honored at the United Nations event and selected as one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30. Featured in Black Enterprise's 'Hip Hop & Enterprise', David talked about success in his early years and how he began while still a student at Howard University hosting parties.

David's older brother, an upperclassman, often encouraged him to explore his entrepreneurial goals while he was still in school. Growing up as a black man in Alaska came with its unique myriad of experiences that shifted, evolved, and molded Bullock’s global approach to marketing and tech.


“When I travel, I actually travel and I love to really explore and take in other people's culture.” - David Bullock told Black Enterprise in a recent interview.


After launching his tech company and digital marketing agency 907 Agency in 2017, David proceeded to create a mobile gaming app called World Famous, producing events for celebs like Sean “Diddy” Combs and Kanye West.


The Alaskan native secured some serious brand deals that allotted him respect in his hometown and worldwide. In 2018, he received Anchorage, which is basically being granted the key to the city, from his contributions to the music industry. In that same year, GQ Magazine referred to him as a “prominent Black entrepreneur.” By 2020, Bullock had earned a spot on Forbes 30 Under 30 for 2021.

David Bullock is a digital marketing specialist and tastemaker. By the age of 20, he had already revolutionized utilizing social media to influence pop culture. In 2014 he was recognized at #81 on the list of the Top 100 Most Influential Black People on Digital/ Social Media. Working with companies such as Warner Music Group, Atlantic Records, Allied Integrated Marketing, and Revolt TV, he became a tastemaker with a high impact on the Millennial demographic.
