A Weekend in Miami: Rolling Loud & Fine Dining
Hey Honeys, welcome to the very first post under my column. I am a fashion, lifestyle and UGC content creator and recently, I went on a trip to Miami, FL. Here's a short recap of my experience:
The Rolling Loud Festival
My first stop was Rolling Loud, a renowned hip-hop music festival. This year's lineup was absolutely fire! Showcasing the industry's biggest names such as A$AP Rocky, Playboi Carti, Lil Wayne, and more!
In addition to the musical heavy hitters, the festival featured pop-up beauty stands, hair brands, and tons of other goodies. About Face hooked your girl up with a soft beat and great vibes!
Inspired by and for the diverse and artistic community, About-Face creates makeup made with integrity and intention, for all stages of life. Built on the truth that no one is just one thing -- humans are weird, complex, and entirely beautiful because of it.
The Rolling Loud Festival was such a lit event, pushing the boundaries of hip-hop and marking its place as a legendary music experience.
Dinner at Gianni's
I had the pleasure of eating at Gianni's: The Villa Casa Casuarina (formerly the Versace Mansion) and the food was just as amazing as the scenery. The restaurant doubles as a venue space and hotel.
Casa Casuarina was built in 1930 by Alden Freeman. Alden Freeman’s father, Joel Freeman left Alden a fabulous wealth when he passed - giving him the opportunity to retire at the age of 27 from being an architect to travel all over the world. More about The Villa here.
I would describe Gianni's as upscale and classy, yet still laid back and comfortable. The ambiance gave an exotic feel and had the essence of Versace's attention to detail. My favorite part of my meal was the Caesar salad - I could eat that every day. Definitely doubling back.
Here's What I Ordered
Appetizer: Caesar Salad
Entree: Chicken La Rotisserie
Drink: Passion in the Mansion
Dessert: Chocolate Cake w/ 24k Gold Leaf
Overall I give the meal a 10/10. Everything was delicious and perfectly crafted.
Traveling and experiencing new things, like fine dining and great music festivals is so important in broadening our perspectives. Traveling helps me break free from my normal routine and surround myself with different cultures.
This experience was so blissful, when I travel I feel more open to appreciate the variety of options in the world we live in. Broadening my horizons, traveling, and experiencing new things is a current passion of mine and I hope to continue to share my journey with my readers.
I had the time of my life this weekend and definitely plan to go again! Have you been to Miami? Tell me about your trip, and comment below.
